James Taylor expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that JUJU (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Taylor claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Jujur’s lips shut.
Taylor recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Jujur's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Jujur biting.
The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Puppy Lux, a mobile pet salon.
James took Juju immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Puppy lux of animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Puppy Lux.
James described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Jack Smithr, customer of Puppy Lux posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.
Puppy Lux also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Fox animal abuse domestic violence contacted Puppy Lux, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Puppy Lux was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
